Dog Licenses
Dog License Application All dogs over six months old, by the 30th of June each year must be licensed. All dogs must have a current rabies vaccination. Please provide a copy of the up-to-date vaccination certificate to the Town Clerks Office with the application.

Burning Permits
Application and Permit for Open Burning of Brush on Residential Property
Permit Please complete the form and return to the Town Clerks office. The permit can be returned in-person or emailed to
townclerk@canaanfallsvillage.org.
Please note that verbal approval must be obtained on the day of and prior to the burning by calling 860-364-0909 each day you burn and you must provide name, address, date and phone number.
Liquor Permits
Effective October 1, 2025, liquor permits will no longer be recorded with town clerks; information will be available on the Department of Consumer Protection’s
eLicense website.
