a.      P&Z Appointment: Greg Marlowe made a motion to approve the appointment of Matthew Macchi to the Planning and Zoning Commission, filling the vacancy created by the resignation of Garret Scavatto. Mr. Macchi’s term will expire on December 31, 2023. Seconded by David Barger; unanimous.

b)     Fiber Optic internet at Transfer Station - work continues with a Frontier Representative to promulgate an all inclusive Fiber Optic Internet connectivity plan for all town facilities

c)      Cyber Security - (see b) and institute proper procedures for Town internet use

9)     New Business

a)     Tax Rebates and approval of suspension list

b)     Fall Festival - The Recreation Commission and the DM Hunt Library are pairing up to collaborate on a Fall Festival for Falls Village this year. We would like to use the town green on Sunday October 29th from 1:00 - 3:00 for this event. The event will include: live folk music, hayrides, crafts, games, petting zoo, face painting, and more. We are asking local businesses and organizations to be a part of this community event as well, pending your approval.

c)      Halloween Party – October 31, Hosted by Recreation Commission. Pizza, trick or treating, etc. Constables/FVVFD for traffic.

d)   Appointment of the Town Treasurer/Bookkeeper - Michelle Hansen as of        11/08/2023 for continuity
e)   Approve recommendation to spend $2000 from ARPA Funds for application for  Federal Funds for the Cobble Rd. Bridge Project

f)      Set date for Town Hearing and Town Meeting - location TBD
