Electors and others qualified to vote at are hereby warned of a Town Meeting for the Town of
Canaan, CT to be held at the Town Hall located at 108 Main Street, Falls Village, CT on
Wednesday, September 02, 2026 at 6:30PM to act on the following:
1. To consider and act upon the question: Shall the Town of Canaan approve an
appropriation of up to ($4,879.00) from the Lee H. Kellogg Capital Technology Reserve
Account (#1703228155) for the purpose of purchasing a new Promethean ActivPanel
and related equipment?
2. To consider and act upon the question: Shall the Town of Canaan approve a request
by the Board of Selectmen to include the Cobble Rd. Culvert/Bridge (#21-007) Project
(engineering study and design) under the previously approved Town of Canaan Bridge
Study Funds (Town Meeting - February 18, 2025)?
3. Any other business to properly come before this meeting
Procedure for the proceedings: Roberts Rules of Order will prevail where not in conflict with
Parliamentary Law. In accordance with the principles of deliberative meeting under both
Roberts Rules and Parliamentary Law participation will be reserved to those present.
